Privacy Policy

Overview

Kannada 500 is a simple flashcard app. We collect only what we need to run the service and nothing more. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads on the platform, and we don't share your information with third parties except where necessary to operate (e.g. payment processing).

What we collect

• Email address — used to create your account and send your login code. We don't send marketing emails.
• Study progress — which cards you've reviewed, your ratings, intervals, and streaks. This is the core data the app needs to schedule your reviews.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You can read Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Session cookies — standard Django session cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the service — scheduling your flashcard reviews, tracking your streak, and managing your account. We don't use it for advertising or profiling.

Data sharing

We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties. The only external service that touches your data is Stripe (payments). Your study data stays on our servers and is not shared with anyone.

Data retention

Your account and study data are kept for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, email us and we'll remove everything within 7 days.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time. Just email us.
